What do you fight for: To have fun, stay in shape, and be hands on involved in the sport that I love more than anything. I dont plan on fighting professionaly anytime soon. I just want to learn as smuch as possible and have fun doing it
What would you say to an aspiring fighter: Something I heard Pat Miletich say once, "Make sure your doing it for the right reasons". If youre doing it to be cool or because its something youd like to "try", chances are youll get hurt, bad.

How / why did you get started in MMA: Started watching the sport fairly late (2000). Where I grew up the sport was pretty much unheard of. Thought it would be fun to try and a test to myself. Started dabbling in boxing and backyard MMA at about 18. At 23 started training in BJJ. a few months later I found Empire Academy in my hometown and been there since.
